Krzysztof Wojtarowicz (1957-2004) studied at the Faculty of Painting in the studio of prof. Stefan Gierowski at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He received his diploma in 1981. After graduating, he started working in television set design. In 1984, he launched his Art Gallery at the Warsaw International Airport. In 1985, he co-founded the TWM Gallery in Geretsried, Germany. He organized many exhibitions collaborating with artists from Italy, the Netherlands and France. In 1994, together with Bogdan Stodulny, he founded the Atelier Gallery of the PTTK Warszawa - Śródmieście Branch. In the years 1996-1998 he worked at the National Museum in Warsaw. He was the author of many artistic arrangements for exhibitions, including: "The end of the century", "Warsaw and its museum", "The art of Polish modernism 1890 - 1914", which was recognized as the best exhibition of 1996, as well as "Paris and Polish artists around E. Bourdell 1890 - 1918".
